Heath Games' Second installment of the Horror Mod series, "Half-Rats". Taking place in July of 1883. Soundtrack courtesy of Ague. Beware, this mod is pretty much NOTHING like Half-Life.
This will make it easier for you all I hope! "It's like herding cats!" now has a new meaning, and better connotations!
LOL~So cute... XD
I thought for a second there you guys might use the multiple commands thing like either Heart of Evil or Sven Coop.
This is even more impressive, though there's the possibility that the marker might be a lil' immersion breaking.
What would you suggest? It has to be something easily visible.
I was kinda thinking, maybe have no marker at all?
I mean, if the system is well done, then it should technically work well with players without needing to have any visual indicators, right?
I might be wrong though, for all i know the markers could possibly be blocked by some random object and having it invisible might confuse players when the cat goes nowhere from what the players intended.
I guess the best case scenario is just to make turning the marker off as an optional thing.
The only command that is gonna be implemented is "move there", I don't think it's really necessary to code "assault the enemies", "fall back", "on me" orders.
I'm open to suggestions as well, the marker can be changed easily (it's just a MDL), I also removed the messages ("Marker placed", "Marker removed", "Friend has reached destination" and "Friend has NOT reached destination") because it reminds a lot of MGS V's iDroid.
Please don't suggest "beacons", this "feature" is killing video games for decades.
Maybe change it to a glowing box with catnip taped on the side? Or just bright yellow so you could see it in the dark.
pussay now follows orders!
this is really cool, nice job shep
