That cactus is a bit weird back there. At least not the kind of plant I would put in a waiting room between the benches.
That's how you know it's Black Mesa, lack of handrails, moronic scientists and cacti stinging you when you sit on a bench is just so them! You'd be happy they didn't put a bottomless pit in your office.
