The campaign of this mod takes place during the Seven Hour War. You mostly command armies of Combine Synths and Advisors, but on some levels you will play as the Human Armies, and on special levels you get to play as a Gonarch commanding Headcrabs, or as Glowing Antlion Guardians commanding Antlion Colonies. In Co-Op mode, both players play as one army of the team. They share resources and work together against the enemy. In Multiplayer Local, 1 player with up to 3 ally bots against 4 enemy bots, play against each other. Teams to be chosen involve Combine, Americans/Germans/Japanese/Russian, headcrabs and antlions. Online multiplayer will be like local multiplayer, but with actual living opponents, open slots being replaced by bots. The armies are vast, the stories are vast, the combat is vast. Everything you can expect out of the seven hour war, and more. WE ARE RECRUITING!!!!!! We need programmers, skinners, modelers, anyone who can help is welcome to an interview!
hope it's all you dreamed about ^_^.
uh..... 1. Theres no bump map and if there is it's useless. 2. Why did you just copy and image and paste in on the gun...? Needs work lol and that is critisism I'm not trying to be mean.
plz look at the old and the new cus i just did and there's a big diff
There is a really, really obvious bump map. The gun looks terrible if it was an actual first person gun but it'll be tiny in the actual mod so details don't really matter.
thank you for that but if i may correct you the size of the little group's and building's are like about 40% the size of the normal hl2 player's and building's so you will be able to see the gun's and yes there will be a way to zoom in and out on field of view
Pratically the same,I can prove.
I personally don't think there's a need to show this kind of work off just yet. Yes, it may look great at a distance. But close up, which is what we can see on ModDB, just looks unfinished.
I think your mod will look outstanding, but it's like showing off a texture and taking only a screw and showing it to us. Normally weapons are shown off because they're such an integral part of a first person adventure.
Look unfinished and very bad..
i can notice a difference.... and it is an RTS so the models dont need to be high poly it'll just bring down the fps.
Didn't realize this was an RTS at first (my bad) :P
But yeah these look okay for an RTS. If you look at other RTS's such as EaW and the stronghold series there models look fine at a distance but if you zoom in...
you need to read but any way this gun look's way better then C&C3 so plz remember this is an RTS hope you guy's like this when where done and if we have highly done model's and skin's we are gonna have a fps issue.
looks good
Get out of here Stalker! Really.
I'd like to say:
Finish the weapons and show me some models of the Union Forces, because i dunno what you wanna make as normal fighting unit for the Combine.
Ye, Overwatch soldiers many ppl would answer, but they were made right after the Seven Hours War from Dr.Breen to show the Union how useful mankind can be.
Ok now the model could use a little bit more detail, but the bump map isn't that necessary in this case. This model is designed to be held by units on the field, it's only going to be about 1600-3600 pixels on screen (40x40, 60x60) when viewed normally, on 1080p...
By the way, normal maps can be a leading cause of lag. If you look back in the things I've posted, there was one in a redish rock cave. Those rocks lagged me on my old GPU... On my new GPU, however, they didn't I found that the lag was caused by the blending of the normal maps.
Looks fine :)
