The campaign of this mod takes place during the Seven Hour War. You mostly command armies of Combine Synths and Advisors, but on some levels you will play as the Human Armies, and on special levels you get to play as a Gonarch commanding Headcrabs, or as Glowing Antlion Guardians commanding Antlion Colonies. In Co-Op mode, both players play as one army of the team. They share resources and work together against the enemy. In Multiplayer Local, 1 player with up to 3 ally bots against 4 enemy bots, play against each other. Teams to be chosen involve Combine, Americans/Germans/Japanese/Russian, headcrabs and antlions. Online multiplayer will be like local multiplayer, but with actual living opponents, open slots being replaced by bots. The armies are vast, the stories are vast, the combat is vast. Everything you can expect out of the seven hour war, and more. WE ARE RECRUITING!!!!!! We need programmers, skinners, modelers, anyone who can help is welcome to an interview!
concept for the u.s SOCOM UNIT
The mag could be a little smaller
believe or not it has to be that big ^^
That looks more like it fits 308 rather than 762x39
a 308 is 7.62x39 an 5.56 is also known as .233

Uhh, sweet, used by HECU and those people?
Also, you could add a small grenadelauncher at the barrel if the soldiers should have a special ability like "Throw flashbang" or somethnig like that.
yes it is for them and since the hecu is one of the later group's will se if we can have the m us ea GL
WALL OF TEXT, INCOMING!
The mag looks too big for a 7.62x39mm cartridge, it looks more like a 7.62x51mm magazine. 7.62x39mm is a Warsaw Pact cartridge, not a NATO cartridge - 7.62x51mm would be more appropriate. Also, according to one of NATO's STANAGs, it should actually be chambered in 5.56x45mm - 7.62x51mm was too powerful for a service rifle (resulting in too much recoil) and was too heavy - the lighter 5.56x45mm could achieve a faster rate of fire, and soldiers could carry twice as much ammunition.
well in the rifle coming out for the us army has that option to use the round i posted so i thought it was ok btw it's the ACR im talking about
sadly it won't come into service intel 2011-2012 along with the new suit
The 5.56x45mm cartridge is superior to the 7.62x39mm cartridge - to the extent that it was replaced with a 5.45x39mm cartridge during the Cold War. The 7.62x39mm conversion on the ACR would most likely be because it's a popular cartridge amongst insurgents - since the USSR handed out SKSs, AKs etc to developing countries in an attempt to spread communism, they would be in a relatively plentiful supply in places such as the Middle-East. They won't be issuing soldiers with 7.62x39mm anytime soon, it'll just be in case the soldier runs out of ammunition.
Heck, impressive :O
Really nice concept man, I loved this one, you kinda mixed my favorite smg and one of my favorite rifles in one firearm! M16+MP5 = This beauty! I loved!
Lol.
If it fires a 7.62X39, it wouldn't be an M16.
Also, USSOCOM will be using the MK16s and MK17s for the forseeable future, so it would make more sense for them to use SCAR variants, not M16s
