Haha so true! Hell, it was this moment that inspired me to start making the mod :p
I felt some mods were just content with having a couple of vorts spawn into a group of scientists and that's about it, I wanted to create something a bit more memorable! Although I've had rein myself in from the scale I had planned. Having 6 characters involved without any of the sequence breaking was enough of a trial to script :p

Looks good! A question: The models have custom submodels or
custom animations? Because i dont like the Gearbox's HD models and i replace them with custom versions often.

The biggest issue is that I am using many custom models for each character from many valve/gearbox games. For example I have models of Barney from the super definition pack for Half-Life, Decay, Opposing Force and Blue Shift. I swap these out when they are needed for specific animations. I have renamed a lot of the models as well to help me keep track of things.

I feel the Super Definition pack looks better than the Gearbox HD one! It would be possible to replace each of them but it may cause issues. Sorry about that, I decided to go with updated models to keep in theme with the style I was going for! Hopefully won't be too much of an issue when you play :)
Thanks for the reply! I asked this because i replace the models from many mods, with the ones from a group called "Trusty Crowbar", they models are more "inovator", for example, inteasted of using an Updated HD Gearbox
Alien Slave-Vortigaunt, they use a ported HL2: Ep2 vort with collars and HL1 animations, but if i find custom models in mods, (for example, a HEV Scientist) i replace the model's textures with ones that fit the rest of the pack. :)
Also, you want to search for TC, you need to search Trusty Crowbar on Facebook because the Moddb's page is outdated. Most of their post are in spanish but some are in english.

Thanks! I consider all my maps a WIP, I'm constantly going back to add details and scripted sequences on my older maps! Hopefully this way there will be many surprises in the final release from the pics here :)

Just good old GoldSrc with Spirit of Half-Life to help perform more complicated actions with the entities! Decided early on to stick to the vanilla Half-Life engine :)
