Half-Life 2: Wars brings the struggle between the human resistance and their Combine overlords to a real-time strategy setting. HLW has been in development since 2007 and last saw a public release (Multiplayer Beta 1.0.4) in March 2011. The Multiplayer Beta, which you can download here on MODDB, requires Half-Life 2: Episode 2 to play and is our very first public multiplayer release! It features 3 game modes: Antlion Skirmish, Antlion Capture the Point, and Overrun, showcasing the Antlion and Combine playable factions. Future releases will include skirmish matches between Resistance and Combine.

how do you get l4d work in hl2wars i have both installed and added the game package content but they only showed up as error.mdl's

No, you can't. Just teasing a bit with the preview picture :)
We do have a build on the alien swarm engine, which can mount left 4 dead. But it can't mount the old hl2 content, so it needs to extract the content which is very time consuming. On top of that some changes in that engine introduce other problems

skirmish crashes
This....is....AMAZING. I GOT ......... DON'T KNOW. SO AMAZING IS IT.
This looks so great I can't even make up a VALVe/Jesus/Gabe Newell-related metaphor to describe this feeling of (can't quite name this feeling either, but it's a cross between bewilderment, amazement, and a sense that I don't deserve to play something this good.)
