Summary:

Matchlocks aren't as deadly at long ranges, at 200m it has its full power dropping off until its max range.

Bows aren't that bad at long ranges, at 80m it has its full power dropping off until its max range.

Hero units are now just better versions of their original unit with a little lower unit size.

Melee fights last alot longer but ranged units still kill quite quickly.

Units get defense 2x faster than attack when leveling so to slow down the game.

-Naval Morale +5

-Sinkable Ships

-Buffed Banzai Ability +5 Attack +10 Charge +2x Speed

Cannons are broken. Culverin at least they get dropped instantly

Alright, I went into pack file manager and I changed the unit stats for men and cannons (under db) for the port_culverin to be identical to the bombard, and it works now. unfortunately I can't change this mod distro, but if anyone else runs into this bug, hopefully they see this :]

I noticed this as well today. Bombards work fine, but Culverins have only two soldiers, which is too few to operate them, and they disband after the battle.

It SEEMS like it's probably a very simple fix. I'm going to try downloading the pack file manager and see if I can do anything about it.

Do we need the Otomo Clan DLC (which adds Portuguese units) for this to work? Or does this work with the vanilla game only as well?

Hi Gunrex, Appreciate your efforts on this mod. It is a great mod, which I am really enjoying. There is only 1 thing I would like to ask: I have the feeling that the 3x trade node income gives just too much income (easily above 10k with just 1 node), can I change this?

The mod is very op, I’m curbstomping everything with arbequisers recruited in a bonus accuracy province. Also for some reason arsenal doesnt let you recruit musketeers but the building before final upgrade does? Ships are also rather odd. My caravels just route ships and they almost never sink anything, enemy ships just route out of battle despite being shot 200 times

thought so..i read in the twc forum that startpos has to be editted.....and that is going top be a bitch...I'm still breaking down the expanded mod so that i can try to put them in the portugal mod TT_TT.
