This mod will be a Source Engine remake of the great Gunman Chronicles :
Gunman Chronicles was a futuristic first-person shooter computer game using the Half-Life game engine. It was originally planned as a total conversion for Quake; it then switched games to Quake II, followed by another switch to Half-Life, before being spotted by Valve Software and released as a stand-alone retail product in 2000. In the game you will play as Major Archer, a soldier who once left his commanding officer on a planet believing him to be dead.
(Wikipedia)

Gunman Reloaded will be a complete conversion of Gunman Chronicles into the Half-Life 2 Source Engine! Adding new features and graphics in addition to the incredible,  unforgettable and psychological western, sci-fi action experience of the original game.

Hello Everyone, our team has been talking internally, and we are seriously considering changing the name of the project (Sigh, yes, again). Although an understandably annoying turn of events, this is nevertheless critical to the way people view our mod. I'll admit, some of our goals are pretty ambitious, and if we are ever live up to them, we have to have a name far less cliche than 'Gunman: Reloaded'. Although I am generally fond of that name, I don't think anyone in the team, myself included, believes it sells. What next, Gunman: Revolutions? What we have in mind, is "The Gunman". Any thoughts?

We have recently all come back from our developmental break, and are resuming major development. We have acquired two new members, an animator and a mapper, and development is generally flowing smoothly. I'm sure its no news to anyone that we prefer to keep almost 90% of our development cycle confidential, which is the primary reason for our lack of publically circulated media. Aww, what the hell, here's some Alpha Wild West shots :D (Remember: This is very, very early alpha, nothing major)

Wildwest 1 - Alpha Wildwest 2 - Alpha Wildwest 3 - Alpha

Now don't get your panties in a knot, this is very early stuff. I might also add a Soundtrack fragment soon. Don't expect much, I don't want to spoil anything :)

As usual, we are looking for help in all fields and more, mapping, coding, animating, concept art, texture art, voice acting, writing, sound design and more, so if you believe you can help us in any way, email: jobs@gunmansource.com, or add me on Skype: 'alex-nuke'.

Kind Regards,
Alex (Nuclear Mind)

Hey again!

How is this project going, is it still alive? :)

Not sure if you remember me but I added you on Steam, I was part of the attempt to revive Gunman multiplayer, which didn't end up too well but still had a nice kickstart.

Just wanted to hear how things are going, it's been quiet for a while now!

Sorry for the incredibly, disgustingly late reply. No, we're not quite dead yet, but development is slow. Most of the current dev is busy with their own matters at the moment, and I have sort of been as well. I'm not going to set a date or deadline, since I appear to be incapable of ever reaching one, but there are a few things I'm keen to show off, and perhaps use to attract the right people and expand the team. Of course, there's still a bit of sugaring up left (mainly texturing) that needs to be done before I do that. Tl:dr Development is slower than it should be, will release media, looking to expand team.

Also, as a note, I am a fairly talented writer and artist, so I may be available if you guys still require help. Granted, that may be off and on untill I can gain access to a permanent work station. I am Still in the process of gaining a new more reliable piece of hardware.

I just want to say that I am incredibly psyched to see this project moving along. GC was my first and favorite FPS, and it is good to see others care for it as much as I do. I am currently writing my own series of sequels to the game, actually. Anyway, good luck everyone. And as a note, It'd be cool to name the project "High Noon in Deep Space" as a nice little reference to the original. Just a thought. ;3
