I must say, a much better atmosphere than the near-fullbright look of the original.
What else is there to say other than amazing?
I might eventually make the window appear a bit larger into the wight like in the original but other than that it truly lives up and beyond to the original..
Ideas: Perhaps right of the door to the right a monitor or keypad like console in order to open that door in case the door is locked.
Or right at the wall a drink dispenser.
Possibly a security rail on the end of the catwalk which prevents anybody from falling down for as long there is no train on station.
If it were me, I'd extend the security window, making it more wide as well as move the SAFETY FIRST sign to the left. As for the unique markings, maybe change the wall texture on the bottom to have blue on light grey rather than grey on light grey. And finally, that wall up above that is angled downwards with lights on it is BEGGING for that original texture to be placed there and have the blue, the lights will illuminate it and make it pop like it should.
Actually there is ONE more thing, make the door like a window and have the door next to this window. I think it'd look really nice. I made a mockup, something similar to this.
