Nope, the project is a fresh start, we are not using any stuff from Barneys Tales. That´s why we can´t use any pictures. If you want them to see, you should visit hlportal gallery for example.

1) Most likely, we will just make the possibility to choose from standart weapons or weapons that brought HD pack with the BS.
2,3) No, we are keeping the same feeling, atmosphere and storyline as well, so no new weapons, enemies or even maps. But we are thimking of expanding the game somehow. More about this later.
4) Probably yes, more info later

Will you keeping the original or making it more canon? Like making it fit into half-life.

Yes, we would like to fit it more into Half-Life, so you can expect some changes in dialogues and so on.

Will you change some part of the map?

Sure, we may add some extra locations or change layout of the map a bit and of course, add much more details to the maps. Anyway, don´t expect big changes.

If this is a new team and the old one wouldn't give you any of there content WHY use this mod profile. Make your own and keep the good looking media on the site.

Aug 21 2009 Anchor

The reason we are using this profile is simple. At first, this makes the mod more visible for the ppl who awaited the Barney´s Tales, so they see there is still chance to get a proper remake of Blue shift.

The second thing is that there was still chance to get some stuff from others members. Anyway, this attempt failed, but it was after we re-took the control over this profile and deleted old media, so we decided to stay here.

I have little question. How many peoples working on mod?

Nov 7 2009 Anchor

At the moment, it's 12 ppl

Do you cooperate in some way with Operation Black Mesa dev team? The models and AI for some of the NPC could be the same, so it could shortened the development time of both mods :).

Nov 16 2009 Anchor

No, we are not working together, even though I'm part of the Operation Black Mesa team as well, we are working as completely separate projects. It would cause some problems organize such a co-operation between the teams, so it's better to stay separate.

Lol, this will not be definitely in FAW :D.

Anyway, don!t expect anything this year (we have no plans for this year at all, there is not going to be any update any any way). But you should probably expect something more in early 2010.

I understand that, besides sharing one (or more) developers with the Black Mesa project, you have no direct connection, but are you interested in making Guard Duty seamless with Black Mesa? In other words, I know this is more or less an update of Blue Shift, but will you attempt to update both mods 'in the same direction', so to speak? So that I can play one after the other, and feel like they're really connected?
