STARMAN MOD for GTA VICE CITY was the first Megamod ever made for the GTA Saga, It is a big pack of mods that fully changes the GTA VICE CITY game, improving it in several ways. It replaces hundreds of textures, all vehicles, some characters, it also improves special effects, sounds, handling, etc. It also includes several .EXEs, for launching the game in different gamemodes: original gamemode, Starman Mod, Fast & Furious, Extreme Speed Mod, Need for Speed, The Punisher, Space Einstein Mod, GTA RALLY. The last version was released years ago, (maybe in 2008, maybe earlier, not sure now). But from time to time some people keep asking me to re-upload it, so they can play it again and remember their teenage years. This last version released in april 2023 is just a bit different from the classic version, some characters have been replaced by HD ones, and the installer is easier.

DOWNLOAD GTA VICE CITY STARMAN MOD V. 15 (Released 29 APRIL 2023)
This is PC version only (windows XP, 7, 8, 10, 11).
How to download it:
1- click the picture or the red text with the LEFT mouse button (a new window will pop up with the file in mega.nz server)
2- click in the filename GVCSTRMNV15.exe with your RIGHT mouse button and a menu will pop up.
3- click the first option where it says Download or Descargar and then a submenu will pop up
4- LEFT click in the first option of that submenu where it says DESCARGA NORMAL (or NORMAL DOWNLOAD)
5- Depending on the configuration of you internet browser the download will start automatically and you will find the file in your Downloads folder in windows or maybe a window will pop up where you just need to select the destination folder where you want to store the downloaded file.
MAYBE YOU WILL SEE IT CLEARER WITH AN IMAGE:
now when the dowload is finished just double click the exe to extract the file, and select the destination folder where you want to extract it, the installer will automatically look in your pc for the required files from a gta vice city instalation to complete the installation, so you can install it in a different folder, like it was a different game (recommended).

the pictures are from the classic version published years ago, i still dont have pictures of the this version with HD character models.
I played its first versions a long time ago, what's new in this new version 2023?
this is the old version of starman mod, but with some HD character models. People have been asking for links to download this mod for years (everytime the links get broken) and i thought that this mod which was very popular should be here at moddb.
note: i also uploaded this week my old GTA 3 New York Mod v. 2.0 if you are interested. it doesn't have a blog in moddb but you can find the links in my profile.
Why it doesn't have more updated content? i quit making mods for vice city years ago, because i wanted to focus in my California Megamod project for GTA San Andreas, which is still under development, with next version coming soon hopefully this month (may 2023).
