Grenades, Snarks and Teleporters (G.S.T.) is a deathmatch mod for Half-Life featuring strange weapons, different gameplay and weird maps.
G.S.T. is currently in public beta 1.0 status. We have completed concept design and initial prototyping of a second beta release with 22 new weapons in addition to a whole host of other new features, but the project has been on hold for the past several years.
We've finally had another site update. Lots of new production shots and concept art can be found in our Gallery section along with two new site features.
We're also in the process of updating our forums and getting some new polls happening.

The Grenades, Snarks & Teleporters site has had another update. This time we've got some new concept art and production shots.

A quirky Half-Life mod with crazy maps and zany weapons including a cattle prod, a go-go-gadget chopper, and the guided chicken.
Thanks to some testing from Swordfischer, we've got confirmation that G.S.T. runs under Linux with the new native Half-Life 1 beta.

Actually, this was a false alarm. It loads the maps, but none of the other game content. We're looking into what we need to do to get it running :)
This looks like fun...
It is! Be aware that it has a few outstanding features (bugs) and built in rest reminders (crashes) that we never got around to nailing down.
At a LAN today, we played for about 3.5 hours and had a great time. I forgot how much it crashes when two fingers of pain are used against each other. :)
That sounds cool.
Yay, thanks for uploading those files :)
No worries ;)
Where can i get a download thats not on Fileplanet?
It's a little late, but I've uploaded the beta to Moddb for anyone who's interested in checking it out (it's no longer hosted on FilePlanet, and the official website appears to have been removed from Planet Half-Life).
For anyone who's interested, our second beta was put on hold until we could find a more flexible engine (most likely in the form of a Half-Life 2 mod). A number of models and maps were made, several new game modes and gameplay mechanics thrown around, but nothing that we could really release.
Right now, we're all pretty busy doing other things, but I think this mod is something we'll come back to one day. It's given us all a lot of good memories.
P.S. We know it's buggy (that's part of the charm ;) )
