Hello everyone,

I feel proud to say that this mod is in a very polished state currently. You may download the complete edition of mod from here:

Graphics Mod (Complete Edition)

I will be very thankul to your kind support to my works on: Patreon.com . It will be nice if you can give some nice ratings to this mod.

So let's move to the important point. I was deciding to make an extended edition of the mod. We can include new features in it. For example I can add some new units to the existing civilizations that you think were forgotten by developers but played crucial roles in the civilization's history. For example, a cheap recruitable horse rider for indians can be introduced since the indian army didn't included rajput styled camels only. Or some kind of special technology in homecity cards or buildings with some historical backgrounds. It will be cool to have ton loads of variety of units and technology for each civilization but with proper balance and historical backgrounds. Let me know if you liked the idea. It can be created as a separate version of the mod.

Feel free to leave your ideas in comments section under this article. I will let you know what I can do what I cannot. But please don't give vague ideas like following or copying a mod or game into this one. Describe everything with a good explanation, with some images/text for the new thing. I will depend completely on you for the idea. For example describe what the new unit's name, description, hit points, attack, weapons etc can be. Please don't ask for new civilization, it is way too much. Also let me know if anything else I can improve upon in this mod. Curious to know what you people think...

- Addition of real houses for the Chinese, who could produce popular troops (the Chinese female warrior and the Tiger of Liberty tiger claw would be good options, would enhance Chinese civilization and the houses would give a touch of realism - a good idea for the Chinese houses is to adapt them from the Age of Mythology, as is being done in Asian Dynasties.
- For new civilizations, if there is room in your ideas for the MOD, it would be interesting to add civilizations that would give more variety to the game (and not fill the game of Europeans, as in Napoleonic Age, Mod very good, but that does not add variability and much beauty to the game). I say all this, even though I think it would be good to see the Italians in the game, because America, after all, is the name of an Italian and Christopher Columbus was also Italian, not to mention the mention of several Italians in the three Americas. My greatest advice would be to add a South American civilization, such as the Incas, South American Indian civilizations such as Tupis, Jês and Mapuche, as well as African civilizations like Yorubás and Congoleses (like those who contemplated Mod King's Return, which included are very well done, especially to the Yoruba of the kingdom of Oyó), as well as West African civilizations such as Swahili and Ethiopian, perhaps a generalization could be made as adding "Bantu peoples", rather than kingdom of Congo, composed mostly by Bantu people. It would be interesting to add a civilization of Southeast Asia like the Thais, with the kingdom of Sion or the Khmer. Korea could add beauty to conflicts in the Far East.
- As for natives, I think they would be interesting: for South American maps: Patagonia for Patagonia, Chachapoyas to replace the semi-Inca in the Amazon, pampas for pampas, Aymaras, chancas, Wankas and Chancay for the Andes, Zapotecs in the lhanos, Nuaruaques to replace the inadequate Zapotecs (again) in the Orinoco. For African natives, I think it would be interesting: Tuareg, Malinois and daemon for the Sahel, Pygmies for the African rainforest, Bantu peoples and Bushmen for the savannah. Middle-eastern maps could be added: Bedouin Arabs (with native knights and camel warriors) and urban Arabs (with Nafta grenadiers and sword-archers) to any map of the Middle East, Mongolian sedentary Mongolian hamlets from Timur to Mongolia , for some map involving Iran or Afghanistan, Yellow River. For European maps: Roma (because they are all over Europe), Basques (because they occupy two countries and were tough) and Hessian hunters (who have been involved in various conflicts in Europe and the Americas). In relation to Oceania, Polynesian peoples (which could be divided into Fiji, Hawaiians and Maori, as well as Australian Aborigines (I do not know Aboriginal tribes). For Southeast Asia, Vietnamese and Javanese could be good natives.

I know that I talk too much and do little, but I could be useful with drawings of units for these civilizations, models and voices for Tupi natives, ie (in this case, the language of the Jê Kaigang tribe, Incas and Yoruba, since I have dictionaries or I know at least some words from these cultures and I study them myself.

I have said too much, but any of these additions, I think it would be incredible to make an even better MOD than the one you have already created so well done and that has already generated me so much happiness for the art you used in it.

Sounds like a good idea but removing the existing chinese villages which already have a very nice models doesn't sound good to me. I never extracted a model from AOM(don't have the game), but since they have same file format it is possible to extract them. One more problem is AOM buildings don't have destruction animation, so they won't look good. You also didn't describe anything particular about chinese units, female warrior, what kind of?, tiger claw, sounds like a kung Fu technique.
You described tons of new civilization's but it is way too much ambitious, without help from others I cannot achieve it alone.
We may add these civilization's as natives to represent them in game. How good are you at drawing, can you help making new icons. Modeling, do you know how to add new models to the game.

Omkar Satapathy, excuse me. The Chinese female unit is called: Xiangu and the Indian unit which I referred to as "Tiger Claw", which is really a kung-fu style (sorry, I was in the middle of a rush and I wanted to write , distracted I did not notice the error), is the drive:.
That is true, without help it would be practically impossible to do such a job, but what I can do so far is to give ideas. If you want to follow one or the other, they are those of my ideas that I selected as good for a good AOE III MOD ...
I could not get the time to read about doing MOD for AOE III, but now I will have more time. I started reading the basic book for modders and, if I gained any knowledge on the subject, I would love to help with something other than just ideas. At the moment is what I have!

I can try to draw new icons, yes. I can send them to you to see them, to see which ones would suit you.
The new peasants of the far east and of India are incredible indeed, and the Aztec peasants gave much variety to the setting of the game. It's actually a lot nicer to see them on the plantations.
As for the Ottoman Turks, the diagonal lines in the architecture add an exoticism, but they disturb the vision a little. The roofs of the second and third era are fine, but when the diagonal lines pass to the roofs I almost have convulsions like the Japanese children signing the Pokémon. It got very saturated.
For Turkish Ottoman architecture to look cool, blue tiles could be added in some parts of the building and diagonal lines could be removed. I think that would already give a whole charm to the buildings and would keep up with the textures you did for the Dutch and the French.
In the case of the Portuguese, the church was great, outside the tiles. I understand the idea behind these tiles. I am Brazilian and here in Brazil there is something very similar to these tiles, they are the so-called "tiles made in the cochas". They were made using black slaves' thighs and were irregular, since each slave had a thigh size. It was very similar, but in the rounded roof constructions they became quite strange, not to mention that they do not adjust to the glare reflected by the light on the roofs. The tiles of the Wars of Liberty are very reminiscent of the roofs of Ouro Preto, a Brazilian city that preserves well the Portuguese architecture of the colonial period. The church you made was very beautiful the way it is, because the thick tiles fit the dome well, but those same tiles are so strange on other rounded roofs ...
But it's just ideas I have for your MOD. You can be sure that if I write so much and I am so prolix it is because his work really enchants me and it is among the three best works that I have already found for AOE III, Omkar. I just talk too much!

Omkar_Satapathy, as a great admirer of your AOE III MOD, I hope you will not be offended by my comment and know that I greatly admire your talent to create and enjoy elements already present in the original game and offer more variety of characters, greater variety of appearances constructions and beautiful units (including the Portuguese Warrior and the British Redcoat that are perfect. The Warrior even gave a totally new vivacity to the Portuguese civilization).
Anyway, what I have to say is this: the only architecture that did not really look good (although the German and Portuguese roofs and the Portuguese window frames and the Portuguese domes that now have copper color might be a bit different), in my opinion, is the Ottomans is the only architecture that was not very good, but there is an Ottoman architecture and a set of Ottoman units that are simply perfect in another MOD, the Ottoman Empire of PredatoR_TR. He created an Ottoman architecture that fits perfectly with that architecture seen in the harem of Topkapi Palace and added historically accurate units.
You could argue with PredatoR_TR if the MOD it created could not be added to yours. If that happened, even without anything else, it would be an incredible Mod, with beautiful differences for every civilization and virtually perfect historically speaking for the original civilizations (mentioning the magnificent Warrior and Redcoat units once again).
Other points that you would consider would be the following:
- Addition of maps involving African savannah, African rainforest, sahel, abyssinia and west coast of Swahili.
- Addition of some known European maps (like Black Forest).
- Addition of at least one map of the Middle East.

felipowisky thanks for your feedbacks.
As for adding buildings from ottoman empire mod, I actually never played the mod but indeed it looks good. PredatoR_TR is an ottoman artist and so his arts look authentic. I just tried to make textures look bit middleeastern. I would like to use that mod's buildings but I don't think it's creator will allow me to use them, since it has already given them to napoleonic era and ne developers are generally very reluctant to share any of their contents. Can you ask him on behalf of me.
Adding new maps is a good idea. I am new to making new maps and natives but I can definitely try it, it isn't that hard. Can you describe more about the maps, describing how it can be, what natives can it contain. You may pm me to discuss more: Moddb.com

There is also a suggestion. I know that the French and Dutch architectural styles come from their respective churches and it is looks amazing. But I think German architecture can do a lot better, especially in age 4. Previous versions of the MOD's German architecture looked a little strange on Age 4, I think. Anyway, thank you so much for making such a good MOD.

Thank you for your update! Im very happy to see that bug of Artillery_Depot has been fixed. It's really hard for you to do the MOD while you study. And I just saw the reply you gave me before today. In fact, I did fix the BUG myself, but I was very happy to see your new version.

You have win10?
If you have win 10 put aoe3.exe in Window XP (service pack 3) compatibility mode, do the same with the mod exe aoeIII, and later run the mod with aoeIII

How can it do something by itself? You need to run the setup of mod, select accept(akzeptieren) button, browse (durchsuche) the location of game , click extract(extrakt) to install the game. Then launch the game from newly created desktop icon.
Can you please clarify whats your problem?
