This mod is a short 3 chapter story about one of Gordon's side missions where he trys to escape the combine. He ends up in an accident and is left to go through a warehouse that you must fight through to escape. In this story you will fight zombies and combine only. So get ready because this mod will take you through a quick side story that is somewhere in city 17.

I added more models and details to really make it better and you can look at how i made it. Please tell me what you think. I changed it up a lot and i'm really happy with what I have created and the best thing for me is to get your guys support and opinions on this. Comment please and thank you for downloading this new version of the first map.
Tell me what you think about this map it just takes like 3 seconds to download. I need to know if this good for a first time map.
Dead much? Welcome to the real world.
If someone could make awesome combine, zombie, weapon models that would rock add me then we can start talking about it.
I don't know, maybe he is taking a fresh approach to "modding". The whole world is his dev team since he is sharing everything from first level sketches and asking for opinions from everyone. I just wish he could take some constructive criticism...
THIS IS FOR SPACE. THIS IS FOR SPACE. lol xD
Heya
First you must have coder in team
Second you must have modeler in team
Third you must have mapper in team
Its the other way around:
FIRST you must have a GOOD mapper in your team.
Second you must have modeler in your team.
THIRD you should have coder in team.
True. Most mods even start out with a good mapper wanting to expand their ideas beyond what can be done with mapping. They want new props, models, weapons, they want custom gameplay features.
This is also kind of natural since mapping is easiest, modeling is more uncommon, and people who can fluently edit or especially add to HL2 code are rarity. People who take this path are progressing better with their mods than the ones that get stuck immediately since they can't find a coder.
The end result of the mod can never be more than the sum of components, that is the team members, but it sure can be a lot less. As long as the skill level of any team member is not bottlenecking the entire project, pretty much everything depends on who is running the project.
