GMDX is an award-winning large-scale modification for the 2000 PC classic Deus Ex. GMDX addresses the many flaws of the game, polishes it to a very high standard, and adds new layers of depth that one would have hoped to see in a sequel. GMDX is executed with the strict parameter of staying true to the original design principles that define Deus Ex, and seeks to improve all aspects of design excluding the plot and soundtrack. The cumulative result thus far is said to be, and aims to be the "definitive Deus Ex experience".

Hi !

While playing GMDX i've stumbled upon what I think to be a rather critical game design flaw caused by the mod, there are not enough explosive weapons from the beginning to that point of the game to get the superfreighter to sink ! All I've found when I came across the munitions depot (two TNT crates and a LAM I've looted on a dude I've wasted) wasn't enough. Cursing at the perspective of restarting the game because of that, I told to myself that I shoud have carried a GEP gun from the beginning, but I think the player shouldn't have to do this.

As you may know, you need at least five LAMs or rockets or HE slugs to scuttle the freighter, I'd advise you to add more of 'em in the shipyard's munitions dump because while Tracer Tong says via Infolink that I could find more explosives in it yet I only find bullets and cartridges (and a TNT crate). Alternatively, you could replace the ship's red barrels by yellow ones since they deal more damage.
