Well, the thing is it's hard to do something new in a limited engine such as sage, keep it original and low poli.

it's just sad that generals is based on the sage. hold it, one modder actually was able to make great graphics with the sage and was able to make great high polies with the models.. so why not make high polies for models? oh yeah, the particle effects i saw on your overlord video and sound effects were fantastic!!

It was his choice, and he must have a truly high end machine wich i doubt half of our fans or CnC generals community has. However i have a feeling that the mod you are talking about ( if i'm not mistaken it's the mod with a verry realistic theme - forgot the name ) might have a gameplay totaly different from normal ZH gameplay wich involves a verry small number of units at a given moment on the map. Because you see if you have 3K polies units in masses as you have in ZH you will experience a new meaning of slow motion, this time for RTS games or if you are lucky the game will just crush. Zeke said he will improve the graphics but down to a level wich will keep the game playable in the ZH style gameplay. I hope this answers your question.

Actually no, because this one looks better then from SW or ROTR. I agree that overlords from ROTR and SW are a bit different, but do you know that models from SW can than easily appear in ROTR because these mods have the same group of developers?

i do know that and what's wrong if they use the same model for separate mod?
