Since the 2020 Retail launch the 2011 release was renamed to: G STRING - BETA and in the future the G STRING - ULTIMATE EDITION is coming. Also don't be confused about the "Developer: LunchHouse Software" part. This is the G String Beta you are looking for, the one made by Eyaura. The display was changed because LunchHouse helped me a lot in publishing the game and this will help us both in promoting our work. Which reminds me: they're making PUNT! Go check it out! Since there is no way to list this on MODDB like on Steam (Developer: Eyaura, Publisher: LunchHouse Software) this is the best solution. Thanks and have fun!

Delays at this stage happen mostly for technical reasons. Some sounds need cleanup too. Remember this is a standalone title now so a bit more goes into making sure it works properly. (Also these delays are much shorter than previous ones so relax).
Plus it's freaking huge. No way did I think this will last so long and be this hard. I see now why for a first game one should make an hour long sidescroller on Unity.
And the way this works is you see no return until it is completely done and this thing ballooned into a 13 year long black hole of time, sometimes I feel it's a disaster I won't be able to recover from.
If you are starting as a game dev or consider becoming one: do NOT follow in my footsteps.
Also let me know if you like weekly updates or you prefer bi-weekly (monthly might be too slow at this stage since things do progress much faster than before). I don't want to seem like I am spamming your moddb notifications.
On the bright side this gives me a tad more time to include some stuff that I wanted to add as updates later on. For instance now we have Korean and Russian subtitles.
