Since the 2020 Retail launch the 2011 release was renamed to: G STRING - BETA and in the future the G STRING - ULTIMATE EDITION is coming. Also don't be confused about the "Developer: LunchHouse Software" part. This is the G String Beta you are looking for, the one made by Eyaura. The display was changed because LunchHouse helped me a lot in publishing the game and this will help us both in promoting our work. Which reminds me: they're making PUNT! Go check it out! Since there is no way to list this on MODDB like on Steam (Developer: Eyaura, Publisher: LunchHouse Software) this is the best solution. Thanks and have fun!

Description

I was two years old when we left the Koreas. My only memory from back then is of our house being flooded and the water pouring into my room.

My mother told me the Koreas used to be beautiful. I guess I was too late to see that. Then we left and came to the NAU. Like most refugees we ended up in Tokyotwice. That name always made me wonder- why not Seoulthrice? The Japanese are more famous I guess.

My father lived in Hong Kong for a while before I was born, he told me Tokyotwice is just like Hong Kong except bigger, noisier and most of all more polluted. The air was hardly breathable even 16 years ago.

Anyway when I was very little it was still an interesting place to live in. But that was before poverty reached the NAU. It was pretty much the last place on Earth to fall because we kept stealing whatever we could from other countries to keep the dream going. I never liked that even though supposedly I benefited from it.

So when all hell broke loose and the civil war erupted most fled the city... or died... We would have left too but my stupid powers were found out and we were shoved in that goddamned clinic.

Today most of the place is deserted, only a few districts remain that are still active.

Everyone knew it won't last yet they've built it.

Humanity's last hope!
The largest urban development project ever!
Come here!
We've stole from and plundered your country so you can come here and enjoy the benefits!
Yay!

It reminds me of Dubai. Overblown, out of place and destined sink. But in Tokyotwice's case it didn't take a nuke, it died by itself.

Like I will soon, I hope.

Myo.
