Mod starts with Winter war when Soviet Union attacked Finland without declaration of war. Using "shots of Mainila" as excuse for war Soviets crossed border with goal to end war swiftly, but Finland didn't intend to roll back and give up. War lasted for 105 days and ended to Moscow Peace Treaty, according which Finland lost 10% of its territory.
1941 When Hitler invaded Soviet Union, Finland saw its chance to take back what was lost. 25.06.1941 After Soviet bomber raid, Finnish army commenced their attack to reclaim lost land with intrest. After long trench war period Soviet initialized their fourth strategic offensive in 1944. Finnish troops were thrown back behind Vyborg, but didn't break under Soviet pressure. War ended on cease-fire, because Soviet union needed everything it had to take Berlin.As terms of peace with Soviet union, German forces in Finland had to leave finnish soil. When this didn't happen Finnish army had to force them off the country, Lapland war began 28.9.1944. War ended in 1945 when remaining German forces retreated to Norway.
Even in turmoils of WW2 Finland was able to keep its independancy and survive pressure of Soviet union, Germany and Great Britain.

Open positions
As we draw closer to release date and our fan base keeps growing. We feel fit to recruit additional members to help mod get sooner out than anticipated. Currently there is following open spots:
- Modeller
- Texture artist
- PHP-coder
For requirements on those positions are that you already have decent level skill in field at question. It would be also prefered that modellers applying for position are able to do proper UV-maps. PHP-coders task would be finishing our homepage and extend current admin panel.
On addition to this we are also screening for mission makers, also most promising of those will be selected to act as beta tester and PR-screenshooter. Other mission makers that are approved for mod will be kept in reserve until our island/map is ready.
Lastly there is a freelancer position for modeller who doesn't want to get completely involved, but wants to donate. Job would require to model houses, fences, wells etc. This position doesn't require skills on texturing or UV-mapping. Ability to do own research is seen as benefit, but we are also able to provide needed pictures required for this task.

We try to bring some feature previews shortly in form of video. However meanwhile you can visit our forums for more detailed status. Here is few prelude screenshots of feature to be previewed. Island in screenshots is not releated to mod, just acted as test ground.
Now that ArmA2 has been released and community attention seems to shift there we have also decided that we will port mod to ArmA2. However this doesn't mean that we abandon ArmA1. We also will release for ArmA1 which remains as our priority until first release.

Sorry folks that it has been so silent for a long time. We have had some problems with motivation and RL has taken its toll. My new job is draining my time and energy. However we're still here and working on the mod, but it is slow at the moment. If any of you think that they might be a of an help, don't hesitate to contact.
