Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

Actually on looking at it again there is something that doesn't quite look right, it is missing a distinctive and pronounced nodule on the upper side trailing edge of each wing, it sticks out of the back of the wing section of the ship. On first looking at it I clocked that something looked a little off, and on checking my reference, sure enough it is that detail in that winged area of the ship.

If you want a copy of the reference image showing the detail just drop me a PM. Other than that detail? This model looks fantastic.

I'm curious - this isn't the highest-damage ship in the Alliance fleet, is it? that's the MC90?

I'm just wondering how battles will pan out. Do the Alliance stick with their old staple of balanced fighters and fast ships for lightning assaults while the IMPs focus on heavy damage-dealing? or have the two sides simply been given equal equivalent ships?
