The Freeworlds: Tides of War mod team have been working incredibly hard over the past few weeks getting the pre-alpha stages of mod work completed. We have over 90% of 104 ships in the game now and are nearing completion of our X-Wing Alliance Upgrade Project importing. A bulk of the team is now focusing in system development and are looking to have the preliminaries of the entire FW2 universe done within the next month. After which point the mod will be focusing on adding new visual effects to all the systems. We've also started to begin to develop the balance between all the ships and we are hoping with the new physics system we've created everyone will be able to get the "SW feeling" We hope you are enjoying the ongoing saga of the FW:ToW development!
In addition to this recent video update, I decided to provide you guys with other links of videos we've done in the past week. This here is a video showing the new weapon FX that I have made using the new ALE editor available to all Freelancer Developers.

Also, this is an added treat. Since Why485 has joined the team he's been working on a way to improve the AI experience. He decided to make a video for us to show us his corrected version as well as display what it would be like to make the capital NPCs use the fighter craft AI code. This was his result.
