Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

Before I get into the meat up this update, I wanted to give a HUGE thanks to our fans that got us into the top 100 mods of the year. It's your support and your continued enthusiasm in Star Wars and Freelancer that keep us doing what we're doing. We now need this support more than ever to get into the top 5 upcoming mods. So, if you voted for us once, please, if you can, take the time to vote for us again.
I also wanted to say a huge thanks to the writers at PC Gamer and PCGamesN for their coverage of our mod. This nod from amazing PC gaming magazines like these really flabbergasted the entire dev team and makes us that much more committed to making this THE Star Wars flight action RP sim people have been waiting for!
Now, to get into the real meat of this post. As you all saw in Sizer's previous post we've added quite a number of gameplay features that really has enhanced the experience. Now, some of those things are more subtle than others so I thought I'd make a development video explaining what these additions are and what we intended to do with them.
I hope that explains some of the features we've added. Please post any questions, comments or suggestions below.
Expect another development video in the next few days showing some other HUGE additions we've brought to Freelancer and this mod.
If you like what you see, and have been playing, please don't forget to tell your friends, your communities you frequent and social sites like REDDIT/Twitter about this mod. Player word of mouth goes a long way and we'd appreciate any of the support we can get for this mod of ours! Thanks everyone!
