Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

I wonder how the land of the docking planets looks like.

so once star citizen comes out will you port your current stuff into that game or will you continue to develop for freelancer?

It is extremely unlikely that Star Citizen will allow us to do what we are currently doing, so no.

Whether we are still around by then very much depends on the status of the community at that point. If there is still interest, chances are the mod will still be alive in one form or another.

Why wouldn't SC let you?

What he means is that we doubt that SC will be as moddable as Freelancer is, so a great deal of what we do will simply not be possible in SC.

Description

While a lot of what we've been doing lately cannot be simply shown off, Friendly Fire and Sizer have recently ventured back into the world, and found it wanting. And being the devs we are... that was just unsatisfactory.
