Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

I dont know why but I always see the nebulon B like a perfect command ship
maybe its shape
I think so too, perhaps because these ships are not so huge like the calamarian ones, and so thea are not fighting in the first battle-line, but commanding them from behind :) but they are looking multi-functional too, perfect for raids on small convois and escort missions.
The Nebulon Bs always did a great job in Empire at War, they were one of my favourite ship type.
I dont know wether to get rebel or empire ships, I will probably get rebel frigates at first like this one, then get empire capital/command ships. (victory/star destroyer)

The Nebulon-B is a neutral ship; both the GE and the NR use it.
I just meant in general, I like the rebel frigates better than the empire's, but the empire's cruisers/capital ships better.
