Description

Since the last revision (shown here: Moddb.com) I've begun implementing improvements that I also made to the free ride extreme editor (shown here: Moddb.com).
However one new feature I thought was worthy of showing off is the support of custom base palettes. No configuration is required to install a custom color palette, it borrows code from how I've developed UI themes. Basically a specific folder in relation to the program directory is scanned upon program launch, the file names get stored in an array and the number of entries counted. Then as the program loads it will auto adjust to accommodate for the added palettes.
This means you can also call your custom palette's file name by whatever you wish, which would also make sharing it a whole lot easier (If people had to give it a specific name, number and then edit a configuration file before hand... well it would be tedious.).
This code could also be replicated into other uses - saving preset weather scenarios for the free ride extreme editor maybe, or saving AI opponent vehicle selections for Career Race Editor prehaps... or even custom vehicle tuning setups for a possible Vehicle Tuner. I'll explore these and other uses over time.
