Alliance are a serie of different mods. On the Star Wars GC, you can play the civil war Empire vs Rebel era + Black Sun and soon the Republic and CIS.

Description
I have designed a new ability, a call of support from a starship. At these screenshots, you can see how a Corellian Mod Corvette can be call and it lands as a ground transport, it can fires to the enemy units and give support to your units. The ability has a time limit but it is very spectacular. I will add more units with more different starships, even a ISD and a SSD but both will fire from the orbit, you will not see them, only their shots firing around all the map, it will be much better than the bombardement from the original game. Have fun.

I always thought the bombardment was pretty weak, depending on the size of the fleet in orbit, hundreds of turbolaser blasts should be available.
Your work is great , i've really enjoyed playing this mod , and i can see more hours of gaming with it ^-^
Can't wait to see some smashing new particle effects. Never liked the vanilla bombing runs.

wouldn't it be nice if the infantry troops would celebrate when you win the ground battle? I mean they could throw they're arms in the air or something like that...
