Alliance are a serie of different mods. On the Star Wars GC, you can play the civil war Empire vs Rebel era + Black Sun and soon the Republic and CIS.
IbramGaunt8911 has created a new Moddb section claiming how he goes to make a new version from my mod Moddb.com
He says about how it is not a lack of respect but all his mod section is full of insults against my own person and my work. Never absolutelly he will have my permission.
At a first place. I removed the links from my mod but after think about it. I have seen how he has not a chance from publish anything. Even without any rights from me. He has not the skills. Even the mod does not work without problems at his computer....it is crazy. He does not go to publish nothing and even if he publish something, it will not be nothing compared to the FOC Alliance. Just another mod with a bunch of units without any sense.
I find very funny, ironic and hypocrit when I look how all these people speaking bad about my work but after it, all them are claiming how they want use it for their mods. People! what is wrong with you? if it is bad, why do you want use it?
The most hypocrit is Strobe trying support this mod made with stolen stuff and telling how my work is bad at same time. Very funny. If it is bad, why do you want work at this? perhaps because he can not finish his own mod by himself and he needs other people stealing the stuff from others. So pathetic and very sad.
I do not go to argue with anybody, things are as you see.

Anything posted on mod db becomes the sole property of mod db and no longer the creator. This is "free release".
If you post it to mod db, you are giving it away to the public, which is the true spirit of modding: labor of love given for free to the fans.
And yet they have taken down mods for "stealing" content of other mods without their permission.
They wont do that anymore cause of the EULA change for modding that was released shortly after LucasFilm and Disney combined for star wars games,Moddb will no longer handle anything when it comes to it and will tell you to take it up with LucasFilm.
Cause in the EULA it states(and i'm paraphrasing here) that you do not what so ever have any rights to anything star wars and that anyone is free to use anything from star wars games,mod...ect freely without permission.
So if you are making a star wars mod for any game you have no rights to it only Lucasfilm and Disney does.

I am not comitting theft nor is it a factor of disrespect.
I am going to be taking the mod apart, analyzing it, and pretty much spend a good amount of time doing nothing but Bugfixing, after that i will begin to add content, and making a host of other changes and alterations. In essense a ''mod of a mod''
I have given Nomada credit and praise for all his work at ALL TIMES and will continue to do so.
His work is not being stolen, it is being altered, changed, updated, bugfixed, troubleshot, beta tested, and stress tested, in such a fashion that it becomes it s own project.
Nomada is welcome to provide information, collaboration, advice commentary etc at any time, he is welcome to be included into the project. Check out the mods page and read through the incredible amount of following and positive support ( including an entire mod group) that applaud this project.

As I Said on Ibram's page, grow the **** up Nomada, you sorry excuse of a man, the hypocrisy that I am seeing right now is actually beyond belief!
Lol Internet can be a bitch, but Nomada, it wasn't really a good strategy to insult all your fans and the EAW/FOC community, or you should've found a way to help your community instead of telling them to buy better equipment for a mod of a game that was released 10 years ago.
You should benefit from what @IbramGaunt8911 is doing, he's fixing some bugs that we others can find on our computers, my own computer is very modern, it's top of the notch, put most of my savings from working in it, can handle most games very easily, and your game keeps giving me exceptions, now I'm certain that this bug is not based on hardware but from O.S compatibility I think.
In short mate, cool your jets, calm down, we're called a "community" for a reason, we help each other, if you upload your mod, you'd best be hoping that someone would be fixing some bugs of your mod.
Maybe if you want your community to be nicer to you, Nomada, you shouldn't shun them when they can't get your mod working. Maybe people making a working version of your mod is a sign that there are people who do support you, and you just run them into the ground because you "don't approve" of them making it so others can play. People want to play your mod, but can't and you're sitting there telling them they're the problem when they can't get it working. Be nice to the community, and we'll be nice back.
