One of the few which concentrate on gameplay instead of epic storylines and blending graphic effects. :) Read the (cheap) website for further details.
In a nutcase, the game will be a fast paced tactical action shooter. Think of Counter-Strike with the gameplay of Action Quake 2 and the movement of UT 2003. And then some.
It is also one of the few that will release soon because the concept is simple and does not require eight months of hard work to be fun at least (how many of those mods ever get finished?). The code (which I do) is coming along quite nicely including a nifty hit prediction which makes your shots feel absolutely "unlagged", similar to the system used in Counter-Strike.
A first release including a working round based gametype, smooth recoil (less recoil while crouching), sprinting, a well working stamina system, a first simple map objective (modified domination points), the hit prediction and more is basically done already.

What I need badly is a first finished map to work and play with and a few nice weapon models. I hope to find some talented people via moddb, so please contact me for further informations if you might be interested. Obviously the greatest would be an already finished (somewhat realistic) map and/or finished weapon models which could then be modified for Flatline.
I have someone probably working on a map and someone working on some models (briefcase model done) but there really isn't anything to show off yet (unless you want to see a screenshot of my code editor ;)).

Just to convince you that this mod is still beeing worked on... This is what's happening:

As you can see on the new promo pic, the hand model is finished. It could need a bit more work at the thumbs area which you can't see on the shot, but that's a detail. Someone else promised me to let me use a model he did and another one also offered his help with weapon modeling but I couldn't talk with him yet.
For the next time, I will concentrate on getting the stuff into the game (first person and third person), creating the animations and then adding features like reloading which require animations to exist. This will be a critical phase, because if everything works well, a demo release could be made very soon.

This mod will be on hold for a while, until someone can really help with the models (converting them for ingame usage especially) or the gmax gamepack comes out (then I'll do it myself :p).
There simply isn't enough coding work left to warrant more work without some artwork goodies to include. :)
