Don't you all miss the good old days of Metal Slug and GTA, when everything was flat and simple? We can bring that back to you! Flat-Life is a SP mod introducing 2 new types of gameplay! Platform, which is classic Metal-Slug style run and gun platforming and topdown, which is even more classic GTA-style topdown action! And even with this retro gameplay, it doesn't look crap! Now with improved FGD and Mapping Guide for flat level creation! Several more surprises awaits, go download! Now with MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT!

Long time no see! I'm here to announce that I no longer will be developing Flat-Life, for the simple reason that I don't have the time or interest to do so anymore. It was fun while it lasted, and I want to thank everyone who played the mod and everyone who made Flat-Life maps. Cheers!
I've decided to release the source code so if you want to continue the development - please go right ahead. :)
The latest version (1.2), all user made maps released and the source code can be downloaded here!

well, it seems to be buggy: 1. that tetris-level doesnt work, because gordon cant jump onto those blocks and because of that always gets smashed.
2. it was impossible to select another level...
Everytime i try to load a new game it only appears a black screen and some annoying music. =(
Hm.. I think I downloaded your "first non beta Flat-Life version" (1.0) but there are only three levels from the side view (no top view) and no multiplayer option.
I liked what I saw though; very interesting mod. Takes me back too!
Is there a Half-Life 2 version of this or something?

What a crap my game everytime that loads at the end.. It closes! =(
Yeah, sorry about that. Some poeple found som pretty bad mp bugs when they where playing so I had to release a small hotfix, and since modDB takes a while to validate stuff...
The patch is here: Punbb-hosting.com I recommend you to always check that site if something isn't working, as that is where the latest updates will be. :)
