In FaceOff Paintball you can use your head movements to duck in and out of cover, whilst you pick off the other paintballers. It features a head-driven handy-cam effect to make you feel more immersed in the game and an online leaderboard that updates in-game as you play. The tracking works using a conventional web camera, so there's no need to go and buy any specialised equipment. FaceOff Paintball can be freely downloaded today from: torbensko.com/faceoff

Hey there. I'd be really interested in trying this technology, but it seems that the game is not even knowing I own a webcam.
The cam I'm using is a Playstation Eye, but it's running the CL Eye drivers from code laboratories. I'm not entirely sure but they seem to have some source or api stuff there...

The cam itself works splendid with Skype and Flash and the likes, so I don't know why it shouldn't respond to the game.

Oh, maybe I should mention that I'm running Windows 7 in 64 bit.

Dont work!

I tested two webcams - Logitech Communicate STX and 'no-name' camera.
When i connected Logitech camera, starting game, LED on cam 'blink' two times. Camera in game IS NOT ACTIVE, head-tracking not working
What wrong?

I use Windows 7 x64 SP1, i have installed new drivers for all devices...

As mentioned in the other thread, I've setup a new thread with some suggestions on how to get FaceOff to work
