PLOT
Setting - Russia, 2038 (or some other ridiculously close date) Character Background - "You are proud Russian mechanic, Viktor Egorov. You are the youngest of 5 brothers, 2 deceased, 1 dying. Your life has been a generally successful one full of engine repair and and frame bolting. Your tools are like your children. One day you notice the sky darken more than it should. You dismiss this as a regular occurance and get to work fixing a totaled motorcycle. You grab your wrench and begin tightening the triple tree and notice something concerning, a house explodes towards your shop, collapsing the roof, crushing you. You crawl, disoriented towards the first-aid kit. As you reach it, the motorcycle crushes you and you black out." We currently need several people added onto the team. Several elements set this apart from the normal everyday mod, the most prominent one being the ability to choose between at least two paths per level, each choice affecting the ultimate outcome and ending. Some endings will be hilarious, others will make you cry, some will make you feel satisfied with your decisions, others will make you regret ever going that way. For instance, say you decide that going through a door is a smarter decision than making your way through vents. If you make this decision, the entire story progresses differently from that point. Post blackout- "You wake up in a strange place, It's a sewer guessing by the smell. You do your best to stay along the side, making your way towards a light source.
More plot details to be released soon, as the mod progresses so will the amount of plot I reveal. I will however post screenshots of the current thing I'm working on, and leave you to guess along about it.
JOB POSITIONS

-An Animator (would loosen the weight on my chest)
-A coder who works in C++ (would make this go along a little faster)
- Male and female voice actors (who are Russian, or can sound Russian) -Shader artist (Shaders confuse me, and understanding them is a pain)
-3D modeler - 2/3 positions filled

This unscheduled news update has to deal with something super important and critical to the plot of Extraneous as we know it. This update is for something very specific, involving something we overlooked. The issue I'm referring to is - Why the hell are aliens attacking Earth to begin with?! I know there's a handful of cliche reasons such as 'A show of power' or 'They need resources for their planet" but what if the only thing bringing them there is the lack of Playboy pages that aren't stuck together? I'd seriously like some ideas for this. Feel free to comment on this update if you'd like to suggest something, also don't be afraid to Pm me. Thanks guys
