A UNSA top secret weapons base on Europa has gone silent. There has been no communication save one lone distress call cut short by an unknown force. Your team has been sent in to find out what has taken over the base.
WIP - The entrance area to the medical area on the second level of ER.
This image seems to be turning out very dark on my screen.
Anyways, I kind of see light on the roof from the lamps nearby.
I'm assuming these lamps are, in fact, on. But they don't seem to give off nearly enough light and don't even look on.
Shouldn't they have more of a glow like the background lights?
Please keep in mind that this is a wip. The light setup is dark, because the lighting has not been built yet, my comp is a little too slow so i will have to send it off to another person to get the lighting built for this massive level. It seems dark because the room IS very dark, and the lights appear funky because this was not taken in game. The middle light is flickering in game as well as the light above where the screenshot was taken while the outside lights (the left and right ones) are off. When i took the picture in the editor window it displays the light, but shows the light mesh with the base material which is off. In game, the light will flicker on and off and glow accordingly. Its a funky picture ;)
I read the description.
I realize this is all a work in progress and may not even remotely reflect the finished and polished map.
I like the look of the facility and would like to eventually see more.
Don't take my remarks as a bad thing, I'm trying to constructively criticize to help you. :)
Though, like the gun and the flickering light, I don't know all the details. I'm just merely noting what I see.
okay ;)
(If this is a double post i apologize, the comments are glitchin out)
The left and right lights are out, and the middle one will flicker in game and glow accordingly. I took the shot in the editor window not in game so it shows the light point at full brightness and the mesh at its base material which is off. In game it will flicker on and off and light and glow accordingly.
This image seems brighter then day on my screen...
All I would say about this room is that it blends together a LOT. This could mainly be because most of the room is the same shade of grey, making the window at the front and the SM in the back right stand out the most. Really in the dark it may not seem like this, but if it is as light as it looks to be on my screen now then I can see the room looking very bland, even if it isn't.
i changed the color scheming to deal with this
