European Front is a WW2 campaing in DYOM made for GTA:SA about the importants battle on WW2, starting with Normandy theather and more later the Eastern Front, made it with historical accurate research, good modelling, sounds, skins, etc..
The Georgian Legion was a German unit composed of Russian volunteers of Georgian origin, mainly Soviet soldiers of Georgian origin captured by the Germans during Operation Barbarossa, this legion composed of 30,000 soldiers, fought on the Western Front against the Allied troops on the D-Day, The Georgian legion assigned to the 352nd Infantry Regiment, which was the same one that defended the beaches of Utah and Omaha, was present in the first hours of the invasion as well as in the days after the invasion.
In this image we can see a Georgian legionary soldier, wearing an M43 tunic with the Georgian Legion patch on the right arm, red collar patches, and the M43 field cap with the Georgian insignia. These soldiers have little training and little weapons to defend themselves, a very weak enemy.
