Ethas: Embrace of Destiny is a modification for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim being developed by Justin Hardin and Elijah Houck, the team that brought you the mod Alton, Il. for Fallout 3. In Embrace of Destiny, you will explore the lands of Arelia and Virardan, two countries currently at war with each other. Your role starts you out as one of the five famous Captains of the Arelian Army. Choices will be made, and sides will be chosen. There is only one question that remains: will you become the hero or the villain?

Summer progress update? What? Oh yeah, that's right, that is coming up soon isn't it?

Hey everybody, Elijah Houck here. I added another screenshot from the Western Reach today, this time showing the Southern Mouth of the river that flows through it (the river splits in the north, thus giving it both a southern and northern mouth). Just a neat area we wanted to show off to hold you guys over until its time for our summer progress update. You can tell in the screenshot that we're going for that classic fantasy feel in the forested regions of Arelia and Virardan, something much more Cyrodiilic than the rough and unforgiving lands of Skyrim.

Oh, what's that? Something about a summer progress update? Oh, I guess I should inform you of that as well. Look forward to that in (hopefully) the next few weeks, we're excited to show you guys what we've accomplished over the past couple of months. It should contain quite a bit of exciting stuff, so get ready!

This is a completely new area in Ethas, created from the ground up by Justin and I. It is completely separate from Skyrim's worldspace. ;)
