When I fist saw the thumb nail of this picture I thought that the cockpit was really a huge ball of flames form an engine. I like my first miss impression.

Its more of an FA-22 Raptor / F-35 Lighting II hybrid. It looks cool, but as waffle has said, doesn't look original.
I'm thinking of a look resembling the "Have Blue" experimental aircraft or FA-37 fighter from the movie "Stealth". Both are relatively future looking, and are original designs. A mix of the two would be interesting.
I'm liking the colours though. Except I think I would make the black sections a little lighter.
