It's great, nice work! As for your Venator idea, I think that you should put it as a light/medium cruiser. I know it's an old ship but come on- It was a Star Destroyer class in the Old Republic end time, so it should be at least light/medium cruiser.

And one more little question- are you going to implement the Enforcer/Vindicator class cruiser? Because it could fit perfectly in the place of the old "Vengence" or a light/medium cruiser if you still decide to put Venator as frigate. And if you will, then please try to find a new model for it, not just the Interdictor without gravity generators.

P.S. Sorry if I made mistakes (I'm not English).

After all the Victory was just a little more powerful ship than the Venator and it is sometimes still referred to as SD or Heavy Cruiser in the age of ISD I and even II.

I see the Vindicator as a strickly Imperial ship. I know the Consortiums fleet is composed of stolen an bribed ships but I still think that that ship looks too...Empireish to give to the Consortium. Besides, from what I know the Vindicator wasn't powerful enough to serve as a heavy frigate.

I might give the Venator to the Consortium as a medium frigate, but then I want the heavy frigate, which the Vengeance was, to be drastically different from the Venator. I hate a simple line of succesion with each next ship just being slightly more powerful than the previous one, because then there's no insentive to build the weaker variant.

Feel free to through around suggestions as I have no set ideas about how I want the Consortium to end up.

Agreed on the Vindicator, it's just too Imperial...? :/

Well, if you're scaling down the Keldabe, why not use that? And then have the Aggressor as the main capital ship?

I was always puzzled by the consortium having two capital ships... When I played FoC for the very first time I thought just that, that the Aggressor was the capital ship and the Keldabe was the heavy frigate. But then I played the game and discovered that I was rather wrong... :/

Keldabe is already a good tier 4 capital, like it was in the vanilla FoC, the Aggressor in vanilla was meant as a gimmick ship, if you could aim it towards the target it was great firesupport, otherwise rather useless and defenceless.

How would a dreadnaught class fit as a heavy frigate?

You could make a new model based off an Old Republic Mando ship like the Lictor or Kandosii.

Or, since the Consortium is more of a pirate fleet and speed is important, you could use a ship like the Corellian Destroyer or Reaver Class Battlecruiser.

Love the spinning mass driver gatlings :D

Imo the wrath would make for an awesome heavy frigate, though its only a concept...

That's not a frigate it's a heavy dreadnought, moddified Keldabe class that most certainly wont fit as a heavy frigate. Glad you all like this new Vengeance though.

Ah well, nothing special. Just some slight changes.

*Looking at original size*
Wow! Now that is a really cool concept comparing to the original version. Great work!

As for the Venator-class: Please not! It's just so overused in everything. Maybe something like this (http://www.moddb.com/mods/eras-of-the-mercenaries/images/vengeance-mk-ii) or maybe a whole new concept, even if that is connected with much much painful work I think.

That came from Farseer's Rise of the Mandalorians mod, and though I like it, I don't like the idea of 2 Vengeance versions that much.

A piece of art, as allways. And it took you only two days of work, very impressive ;)

As it is an artillery ship now, will it loose it´s cloaking-ability?

Yeah, or friendly-fire-mode. That would be even better, wouldn´t it? ;)
But seriously, what about something like the AT-ST has? Rapid fire for short range combat. Nothing that could kill a frigate, that would be op. But wreaking a little bit havoc for the last stand would be quite fitting for a "Vengeance".

Well it is a very nice idea, mass driver gatlings with an increased range for artillery support gives it a whole new role compared to the old vengeance class. But While i never cared for the way the vengeance was in the old FOC, im not sure what to think of this. Its served a decent role as a heavy frigate and was pretty decent at eliminating enemy frigates with ease. So im kinda wondering what made you do the change up on it?

The Vengeance went through a major size reduction, aswell as a complete roll change. The ship is now a lot smaller and its only armerment are the 4 large mass driver gatlings. They are now used for long range bombardment, like the Broadside and the Marauder. Health will be greatly reduced. This ship is now an artillery ship. Instead of diamond boron missiles it'll fire a barrage of mass driver shots (made a nice animation for the gatlings spinning too)

The role of heavy frigate for the Consortium will be filled by another ship, I'm considering the Venator, but the position is definitly open for suggestions.

A little about the design. This ship was really a hit and miss model. Redid the chassis once, and after that kept playing with parts untill this eventually came out. As the consortium is very keen on their big guns, Aggressor with 2 giant guns, the Vengeance had the 4 huge mass driver batteries ect. I wanted to focus attention even MORE on the large mass drivers, and decided that as an artillery ship the ship should be smaller, but the mass drivers are kept roughly the same size.
Actually started and finished the whole ship in 2 days, when I finished the model itself the uvw and skinning went pretty *fast*, as fast as it could really.

I made several changes to the overall design (moving the cannons from the wing tip to the middle of the wing, more antennea ect.) and I think it looks better for it. I really like how it came out.

I will put out a video showcasing both the Keldabe's special ability and the mass drivers on this in action, probably in the next couple of days, but no promises.
