ISD 1 also have diffrent engines :) And the ISD 2 dont have those three turrets in the middel, but a reinforced armour platting there. But the ISD 1 have those three turrets in the middel ;)Saw that in Rouge One :D
I thought the ISD had a dedicated point-defense system, but I'm not sure anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, the Empire with have the ISD 1 available on tech 3, while the ISD 2 unlocks at tech 4.
