A squadron of these comes with 6 N1 and 4 N1-b starfighters, shiney and chrome.

N1's are my favorite ships in star wars ... they look just too damn sexy. good work!

Edit: Why mixed squardons?

Well, dogfight wise the bombers don't really suffer any disadvantages over the interceptors, aside from their size, so I figured having both in a squadron makes it somewhat multirole. Both bomber and interceptor. Sounds ridiculous, but I think it'll work.

Wanted to do the same for the Chela and Aurek fighters for the old republic, if we ever added that.

I like the idea. Though I've had just a squadron or two of bombers that made the difference between victory or defeat, I hope they aren't too under powered when it comes to their capital ship system damage.

I had never really considered how small N1's are - Y-Wings are absolutely huge! Awesome work on the N1-B, lovely to see this in a Star Wars game again! All my best to you oh fantastical mod team!

Thanks :)
Funnily enough, there's 2 canon Y-wing sizes. Some models are only 16m in length, some 23.4m. For the mod we're using the larger ones, imo it works better with how slow, inagile, and sturdy they are, but the other sizes are worth mentioning.

The N1s are so damn small they're sure to stay alive for a bit in a dogfight. Fast, agile, and small. A dangerous combination, hope you guys will enjoy them when the next mod version releases.

Your mod is the only thing on my radar at the moment! I appreciate every detail and thought you put into it!

I didn't realise about the Y-Wing lengths, they were always bulky, but damn, almost 25M is huge! Love that you've gone with that length, always love seeing them on bombing runs 🤘 Wonder if we'll ever see my favourite bomber, the Scurgg H6 😂

Description

On Naboo you can now build a mixed squadron of N1 interceptors and N1-B fighter-bombers.

The good old N1 we know and love, surprisingly small, very small actually, one of the smallest interceptors in the mod, smaller even than the A-wing, a very hard target to hit, small, very fast, very agile, decently armed with two laser cannons and 1 torpedo launcher.

N1-b variant by KV, just as fast as the N1, just as agile, armed with two laser cannons and a second and third torpedo launcher. While bridging the gap between light and regular bomber (think z95-tb with its two launchers, and y-wing/tie bomber with four launchers) the N1-b is a nasty piece of work. With the agility and speed of an interceptor, and three torpedoes launched per volley will make these annoying little shits extremely annoying. Like mosquitoes they'll suck your ships dry of HP, slowly, but very surely. Mostly very surely because of their speed and small hitbox size.

N1-b model and texture by KV
Rigging for both by yours truely.
