Forgot to mention: All the ships now have deathclones with the proper textures, had to improv some but I think the animations are quite nice. Venator even has two deathclones.

Still ironing out bugs in the ship rigs here and there.

How does the two death clones work?

I would assume it's one deathclone model, but with two animations; similar to how land units can have multiple death animations on a single model.

which ISD variant has (only) QTL turrets on the sides?

There's only one ISD class in the mod. I think you mean the Allegiance, which has 12 quad turbolaser turrets as main batteries.

There's only one ISD class in RE? Huh. Never noticed that. Any particular reason besides less buildbar cluttering?

Yeah, why is Acclamator getting 3 variants but ISD only one?

Because there is only one relevant ISD in the mod.

Fair enough. Now that I think of it Venator+ISDII+Allegiance cover way more ground than the two ISDs.

>Acclamator II and Acclamator III variants with ridiculous weapon upgrades, for when you absolutely have to blow holes in every capital ship you can find
Now that's what I like to hear.

Funny to see another misinterpretation of the term "assault ship." This is an assault ship: En.wikipedia.org

While its weapons are theoretically useable against other ships, all are horribly outranged and underpowered compared to those used by proper destroyers; they're for defensive use only and should NOT be considered "weapons that don't suck."

However, I won't disparage what you've done to the Acclamator; I recognize that it's more fun as a miniature star destroyer, even if an improperly named one.

This is star wars. Any logic, consistency, and real world applicability is now invalid. Your terminology is now invalid. This is a capital ship: Starwars.wikia.com

No Vindicators? One would think they would be more common than the Gladiator-class...

In any case, beautiful amazing work!!

I'd say they are about as common as Jer's desire to create the model of one.

Description

I've finally "finished" the massive rerig of the Imperial ships with Elratie's new textures. With that comes new hardpoint lay-outs for almost every ship. Sometime in the future I'll recode the hardpoints.

The Venator, a joint endeavor between Elratie and myself, is now finished. Looks great. Neutrally buildable on worlds that can build Republic ships.

The Acclamator Assault Ship, now an actual assault ship with heavy proton torpedo launchers and other weapons that don't suck, is now neutrally buildable on planets that can build Republic starships.
The Empire gets special Acclamator II and Acclamator III variants with ridiculous weapon upgrades, for when you absolutely have to blow holes in every capital ship you can find. Special thanks to Steiner for allowing me to work with this Acclamator model.

The Victory Star Destroyer has been repurposed to a long range support ship. It retains its super heavy concussion missiles, which are not targetable. It now also has 1 ion cannon battery, 2 turbolaser batteries, and 2 long range standard concussion missile launchers. Hey look guys, it has its vanilla weapon lay-out back.

Imperial Escort Carrier now comes in black. And only black.

You've already seen the Imperial Star Destroyer in action with the new hardpoint lay-out in that one video. If you haven't yet, watch this: Youtu.be
