This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
This little shitstain of an AI script gives the computer a magic cash drop every X amount of seconds. It used to be 6000 credits every 120 seconds, I have changed it to 10000 credits every 600 seconds. A substantial nerf in the amount of cash the AI generates, but remember this is a magic cash drop that they get on top of their mining resources.
Man no wonder why they never ran out of money that's like double the income for a space station and a few mining asteroids.
IsnĀ“t it so that the AI gets even more money on hard mode? Or is this the max amount it gets?
Not sure if it only does it on hard. This is just an extra deposit they get, no max.
Damn AI is bourgeois as ****. They probably get free money from their parents to take Twi'lek studies classes, then go riot about how the Empire is oppressing them and employing too many humans from the Core Worlds.
I wish I could get free money.
"Damn AI is bourgeois as ****"
There is nothing about this sentence that I don't love.

While we are talking about this, let me ask something.
Is it just with me or is the consortium massively stronger and richer than the other factions?
In vanilla, sure. They have units that are tremendously cost-effective if not just outright better than their counterparts in other factions, especially in land combat. Their artillery, for instance, has all the advantages of the others, none of the drawbacks (their lack of mobility), AND has shields and can go across water.
As far as this mod goes (though it's space-only), I'd say the Empire tends to *slightly* outclass the others when accounting for price and build time, and massively outclass them when you don't. The former is probably close enough to vary from player to player.
Is this for Skirmish or GC?
