Yes, they still need to be tweaked before they're properly playable though.
yessssssss. I love doing one planet. Makes the game a bit longer. Making the rest into pirates give it more fun too :D
Starting with 1 planet gives you a long period to build up before encountering the other factions, the pirates are sometimes quite powerful to give you something to fight early on.

It's possible for mods to have more than 3 factions in GC? Are there other mods that also do this?
Yepp that is possible but the issue is that afaik the other factions cant have heroes.
I thought they could, it was just that they couldn't spawn the same way other factions could?
But they are no real heroes.
Just like normal units with a heroe icon
