This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
They've got quite a lot of health. I decided not to make the hangers targetable, and instead increase the power of these 11 guns. 8 triple turbos and 3 dual ion cannons.
That thing is a giant spaceport anyway. It's pretty much dead when the bays are destroyed.
I wouldn't unestimate its armerment, it's very powerful.
Speaking of hangers, is that also going to be changed? Like how the SSD can launch fighters at your choice instead of automatically?
The bellator launches all fighters at once. Never understood why they had a fighter deploy ability on the executor.
Personally i liked it. dont know why, just did.
I gotta ask, why the Diver of all different ships to add to the rebels? Not that its a problem, but why not the MC80 B or the Bulwark or a bunch of other rebel buff ships.
I wanted a large carrier as the Rebel tier 5 battlecruiser, because most of their ships launch no fighters/only a few squadrons. Giving them a slightly weaker tier 5, but having it carry a lot of fighter squadrons makes for unit diversity. Which is number 1 priority. If a unit does not fit a unique role, it will not be added in the mod.
This ship fits that role perfectly as a carrier. I was also considering several Corellian ships, which all eventually lost to this concept.
Ah I see. So is this it for the Alliance? Are they Gonna get any more support ships?
Ah man, I just love the Blue Diver. One of those great concepts which should show up in Episode VII, in one of the official video games or at least in one of the comics. However, mixed with this perfect new hardpoint icons it looks absolutely stunning and great.
Amazing just amazing!
