hi friends!
this week i try to finished the chapter 1 and 2, and i continued trying to get some new ideas for anothers escenaries... i need some inspiration...
so, i decided upload a demo version
you can play from the editor of gears of war... only open the maps and (compile if is necesarry).
CHAPTER 1: is named gotham_batman, and CHAPTER 2 is named factory_badman...
enjoy it! and please if you want, post all you think, comments, or ideas...

alright dude, your mod is very stable.
i couldin't find the key in the first chapter, after the joker's note, but i could playa lot of the level, and despite the fact that i could pass through some walls, it worked. the atmosfere is perfect, the rain, the black and white grafics and the buildings...
one thing that needs fix is the fact that the "harleys" come to you and suddenly they go back to the place where they were.
another thing is the fact that when i click the weapon won't fire,obviously,but after doing it i cant use the melee attack either, so there's no way to keep advancing.
One thing i sugest is coloring only the enemies. Some of batman enemies, like harley or joker, are not so cool or cartunistic in black and white. i sugest you color them, it will draw player's atention to the enemy, as well as making the cool atmosfere not so "equal", peaple wouldn't get tired of the mod quickly. colored explosions and effects would make it fun too(kinda like sin city, but without blood).
i could make a cartoon of my ideas to some characters like the riddler and joker and others and take photos to upload, if you like.
the last thing: hitting the melee button all the time is not fun. i sugest you make some weapon off the gears become the batarang or something like that, it would be much more fun (remenber, fun is better that beutiful, playable is better than "atmosferic").you could put other batman's items too
any chance this would be on the ps3? i would love it!
if you go with the cartoony style for your characters, you're going to need to write a new shader for the environments. in it's current state, there's way too much contrast between the two
