It was part of an old spellbook spell for Angmar, the "Gate of Udun", which summoned tons of monsters.

wait a sec , isnt udun behind the black gate (part of mordor) how can this spell be used by Angmar ? , if you want to add giant beasts to Angmar i think they must by snow beasts or at least not from the land of mordor

Udun was also the Sindarin name for Morgoth fortress. Also, the spell already wasn't included anymore some versions before.

As FG15 wrote, Udûn was the name of the first and most important Dark Fortress of Melkor in Middle Earth.
Furthermore, as the time passed, the word 'Udûn' was also used by extension to indicate the Evil itself, that doesn't rest, given that Melkor was its original source.

wow The Witch-King of Angmar Open the gate of Morgoth fortress to Summon these Mighty beasts of his Lord , this spell is an honor for The Witch-King and show his status in Evil as The second best servant of Morgoth next to Sauron , its really painful guys that you show us something you will not give , but i still like this mode no matter what.
The video has nothing to do with Angmar.
Technically, the Witch-king has never been a direct servant of Morgoth, and Morgoth himself had far more powerful servants than him, like Gothmog, the other Balrogs and the terrible Winged Dragons :)

Uhm, while the music is fricking epic, doesn't this trailer possess a couple of outdated clips? Like the Mirkwood guys, or the old orcs of Mordor, or the old Angmar stuff? I might be mistaken though.

In the whole trailer, there isn't a single Mordor orc visible. Only in the third scene there are some dead ones laying around. Also the Mirkwood units are all up to date, as well as the Angmar units.
Only the dwarven units are outdated by now.

And I wanted to ask for some time now, will there be any new CAH classes? Or maybe add 'blademaster' to elven archers (male and female)... because there are elves that fight good in melee.
The problem with the blade master ability would be that it would be completly useless, when not having the weapon toggle. And that is something we don't want. No ability should be a "trap" for players to choose.
There are some things we have in mind with the CaH, but every little change for them needs tons of work. And only creating a new model for a subclass would take at least ten times at much work than a normal hero.
Hmm, I'm not really good with arguments and all, but can't you just have an ability that changes depending on the weapon? say that one that increases firing speed? Make it so that it does its thing when the bow is equipped and if the hero has a toggle and has a sword selected, it turns into blade master? Ofcourse the cooldown would be shared so that you couldn't just switch weapons and use the ability again.
Also, why can't an elf mount a normal horse, becoming a horse archer? That would be extremely awesome, if you balanced it out with "while mounted the range of fire is decreased by (insert % here)".
And my last question is -why is Glorfindel so underpowered?- I mean I know you can't make him totally op, BUT if you want it to be lore accurate, level 10 Glorfindel should be able to 1v1 a Balrog, or at least so I have read in Third Age Total War.
Fix me if I'm wrong, because I know I am. I just want to know where. Thanks for such an amazing mod and keep up the good work!
Hello. Make Blademaster the second level of the Sword skill to prevent people from getting blademaster for bow-only heroes. I hope that's possible.
I have played a map called "Legends", which was a D&D-like custom map for bfme2. What you guys are doing here, however, is freaking amazing! I mean, it's like having a kotor stilled Tolkien game! I am curious however, will we be able to control other heroes other than the custom heroes down the road? or is this something specific for custom heroes only?
Also, this is a question I've had in my head for a while now, the customizations on rangers, elves and men were all the same, mostly. Is it possible for you guys to release a skin pack for the custom heroes? I mean, I really wanted my elven hero to look like one of the armoured soldiers of the Thranduil's realm, or have the ranger with the same kind of outfit as the main character in Shadow of Mordor. Hell, I'd even take an option for my uruk hero to have one of those tower shields like those 5-uruk shield battalions do! I know that it is not your main focus, and in fact, its far from that, but IT REALLY WOULD BE NICE TO SEE MORE OPTIONS WHEN CREATING A HERO!!
In this map the player can only control 1 CaH, but there are some other heroes also following the Quest, which are controlled by the AI.
We have planned some further changes for the CaHs, but even a small change for them needs lots of time.

Only a question: Which map of the game if the best for test the factions for a beginner? I mean a map that they enemy doesn't harass you all the time every 5 seconds, either with Siege weapons.

I have to ask is the Morchant guy that appears in the opening cinematic based on an actual race from LotR or is it an easter egg as I have only ever heard of them in fan fiction online?
and am I the only one who can't even beat the first floor? all of the Ai guys either stay at the start or run miles into the map drawing all the bad guys into one area making them impossible to beat.
where i can download map?
