Very good picture, better than the original concept (it was only the tower of the elves of the original game).

Unfortunately, this is just a mashup of the buildings in the vanilla game.

No, it is inspired by the original buildings, but it is something new and unique. If it would look completly different than the Grey Havens buildings that would not make sense.

Ya, honestly, do you guys even use many of the original buildings at all any more?

actually you can clearly see a darker shade of purple and much more detail on the stone work as well the entrance is completely new entirely

Yeah but it is still just a combination of all the vanilla meshes, just used to make a different style of building.

Oh no, just compare the original buildings with this new model and you will see many differences. But I believe it is compliment for us, if it looks as good as if it were an original grey havens building ;)

I dont understand your problem Legoman. This model is made up for lindon. Well, it could be a little bit odd, when it doesnt fit the style of the vanilla game.
If we have the chance to use stuff from the vanilla game, we will use it. And finally it is looking great.

This is a great concept, I love the idea. Will it provide any sort of unique naval upgrades?

It doesn't at the moment, but that's a pretty cool idea. We'll think about it :)

I think it's absolutely amazing and better then any of the other modder's & mappers have produced in their modding life time EDAIN ALL THE WAY !

They have some good modders and mappers - but they are certainly not only ones who continue the game.

But still, this model is a bad example.

I'm not saying the model looks bad, I'm saying its just a compilation of other Grey Havens/Gondorian models put together and re textured a bit, therfore it still looks generic.

And Saruman your statement is fairly full of ********. Plenty of other modders have produced work of the same if not a higher level than this building. I love the Edain mod, its fun to play and looks very nice, but to say that its superior to every other mod? No.

Well yeah, sometimes we try to avoid additional work, if the vanilla game offers good enough material. ;)

But other times we create our own original content, so to reduce all of Edains content on the appearance of this one building is also fairly full of... stuff.

tier 4 looks odd. The stone tower coming out of center of the glass dome...it's unfeasible and looks bad imho.

love your work, just wish it become even better

To sort of add to your question, will Arnor still function the same way and be limited to certain maps? I think it would be cool if they even had more maps such as Burrow Downs or Rhaudar since they were the ones who built the burrows in the first place.

Description

Rivendell can build the Lindon Spire on their settlements. This tower recruits Cirdan and the Guardians of the Haven. As Cirdan levels up, the Spire is also expanded and becomes a more formidable bastion against Evil.
