Our goals for version 0.06.0 and our announcement for the final release version.

Greetings everybody. Today, I'm going to talk about the features coming in v0.06.0 and a rough estimate for our release date.

So, firstly now that we've made sure that all ships are no longer indestructible (hopefully) we will now be focusing on the Space Stations and ensuring they can now effectively return fire upon aggressors. We will be deviating from any known canon on both Rebel/Imperial space stations as Star Wars: Empire at War and the Forces of Corruption expansion are the only two sources which depict these stations and their supposed armaments would not ever be adequate to prevent Rebel/pirate assaults. As such, we will have to devise the number and type of armaments on these stations ourselves.


Apart from the Space Stations and Pod Defences, the only other elements we have left to complete are the Tier 5 Capital ships; the MC80 Liberty type Star Cruiser and the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer, and the hero units. Once those have been modified we will finally be able to push out a full release! That doesn't mean we're done though, we will begin work on the 'Corruption Edition', a version of the EAW - Realistic Mod compatible with the Forces of Corruption expansion. Until that time, we hope that those who've played our mod are finding it to be quite enjoyable!
