ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.
Trunks Bonus Melee Attack *video*
Dalte and Darktooth have been working on completing animations and FX for Trunks. Earlier this week they worked on one of his bonus melee attacks and came up with this bad ass little combo.

In an effort to speed up the release of ESF:F the team is giving the community an opportunity to pitch in. The source files for ESF_Buu have been posted in a new forum section called "Help Finish ESF Final". If you're interested in helping out you can check out the thread here. Even pitching in with something as small as a texture or environment prop will help.

Yes i still don't comprehend how they can do that with only the HL1 SDK and no access to the render source code, is bloody amazing.
The HL1 SDK is a lot more free to temper with than the HL2 SDK.

Maybe esf is showing too much blood.I dont remember dragonball anime being that bloody :)

I believe they cut the blood out of the anime. The manga was supposed to be a bit bloodier.

That water looks like its from Cry Engine, holy ****. This DBZ mod truly looks like a next gen game.

Finally a DBZ fighting game that is actually decent! (This generation of DBZ games were all pretty horrible compared to last-gen).

You run the installer and point it to your "STEAM/steamapps/accountname/half-life" directory
