ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

"Don't exaggerate"? Do you have any idea of how much hard work, how much time and how many people has been working, to make this mod become the biggest game engine enhancement in the half life history?
i dont know if it is feasible to just call it biggest enhancement evar. . . It is one of the most polished enhancements i know of but just saying this will probably **** off a lot of Cry of Fear fans.

What is with the down voting of comments praising this fine work?
Well... did you tried SSAO and some advanced method of AA? Look's good and stuff, but Vegeta face look like have no smoothing and advanced shading isn't anything extraordinary. When mod comes out it will be not so PC stressing I guess.

I've just come across this after not having played it since the first few versions and I have a question which might sound a bit noob-y; is this still in goldsource engine? This looks awesome!
I downloaded the latest version and installed it but it doesnt look like this... where can I find this version? What exactly am I looking at?
Old comment, you may already have your answers.. but yes, this is still the goldsource engine. This is the current inteam build of the game, the one being worked on and has not yet been released. The most recent and stable release is 1.2.3. The most recent unstable is 1.3 open beta. The one viewed in the screen shot is dub'd 'ESF:Final'.
