Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) is a mod for the game "Men of War" and some of its successors that randomly generates skirmish missions and lets you keep your surviving forces from one battle to another. Some people find this mod tricky to install the first time - please read the readme.txt carefully and ask for help (if you need it) on our forums here on this site, or at the game developer's site.
Description
This is a full release of DCG v5.5 for the original Men of War game packaged as a single download - all packs are included in this release. Updated to include contents of patch #1 and patch #2 - this is the latest version of 5.5.

Can i use for mowas2? It keep crash when i play in mowas2. I change setting.xml to extract the maps.
No, you can't. As the description says, it is only for Men of War. Due to the DCG team (we're only two members left) losing all its members who worked on the AS2 version, we've for now, dropped support for AS2.

Also can you add in the 10TP prototype tank which was captured by the Germans and given to General Messe as a gift by the Germans?
Why should a blueprint for the 7ypdw be added?
10TP. No it wasnt used in combat so no reason for it to be added.

No, Netherlands hasnt been added, nor was it planned to be added in this version. Only Poland was added and right now, so am I working on Romania, Hungary and France. The Netherlands will be added later, but I cant say when it will happen.

Sooner or later it might happen but not now. It isnt like we are 20+ modelers working on adding stuff, I am alone doing everything (3d models, skins and exporting) from scratch and thus, it takes a lot of time getting a single new unit into the game.

Hey Ive got a problem here, everytime I open campaign.exe and I click done it gives me missing .dll errors like VCOMP120.dll and 2 more. I've got these files and installed everything in the tutorial. I play Men of War
Nevermind I fixed it already! I removed the external folder with textconv.exe inside and I launched perfectly without errors
I am having the same issue; can you please tell me what you did to fix it? What is the "external folder"? Can you be more specific? Thanks.

Got two problems with the operations in the mod. First after making about 3 custom operations they stop showing up even if i delete old ones. Second i keep selecting six by four random, but it gives me the wrong operation for example I choose Usa Western Front vs Germany and on a 6 by 4 random operation. It gave me operation overlord the operation above it on the list.
Been playing alot of this mod but while as Italy in Kasserine pass campaign, I came across a rare CTD as CTD's don't usually happen with DCG but I can't seem to get past this one and I don't want to loose all my progress, here's the same crash log that I get after going past loading screen and reaching the "Press space bar to continue" part but as soon as I press it: CTD with this message:

No other mods besides Campaign, and never encounter such CTD before. If there's any fix or a work around, that would be appreciated.
i'm getting an error when using Cheatsmod with this, it works fine for 2 missions qhen i start the third mission the game crashs

I used Cheatsmod and edited the 0.mi file everytime your mod generated a mission putting " (include "/map/cheats/cp1.mi")" befores the last line of the 0.mi, what i want to know is, why it works two times before the game starts crashing?
DCG isnt set up to work with other mods. If you are using any other mod, including cheat mods, dont expect us to know why your game is crashing.

Hi I'm very sorry for the dcg 5.5 because to me don't work. When I estract the map a message tell me that something is missing and when I try to launch the game the game crash! Any help? I was optimist because in the beguin was wrote that the wersion was complete. Thank you in advence

I have always apreciated the work your and of your team with DCG and until the last time I have had always non problems for installing or playing.
My las time was with 3.5 then I have abbandoned the game I don't know why for say the truth but now starting to play again cause a little bit of nostalgy I have downloaded again the game from GamersGate.
Now contrary to the previous times when I start with the installation of the DCG the program tell me that in the main folder is not possible to find some file if I remember good they are calle pat or pak 2, 3, 4 and 5.
And then other errors when I try to start the campaign.
What we can do for let me play again with your fantastic creation?

Is your game updated to the latest patch (v1.17.5)?
If you open up the game folder, do you have five files named 1.pat, 2.pat, 3.pat, 4.pat and finally, 5.pat?
You havent downloaded the v5.5 of DCG and trying to run it on AS1 or AS2, reason for asking is due to the fact that v5.5 only work with the original MoW made by Best Way.

Is there any Blood and Gore mods compatible with DCG?
Love this version of the mod! My only concern is that it has no in-game music in which it adds to the immersion of the mod. I hope you consider this suggestion. Hoping for a reply
First of all thank you so much for your wonderful mod.
I've tried to expand some german and polish units adding new breeds and new humanskins. Everything is working nice, except they do not level up or gain experience despite I added level sets (new-l1,new-l2-,new-l3, new-l4) How could I get them to level up?
There are also some new skins for DCG soldiers and models I would like to send you. How could I send them to you?

Sorry for late answer, busy with RL issues.
You need to add the new soldiers to the desc.lng file as well.
Upload your skins, then either PM me the link or post it here. However you must be the author/creator of the skins. We do not use skins, maps etc from other games or other peoples work w/o permission from them.

Currently it is put on ice, at least for me. I havent heard from the other team members in months so I aint sure if any of them are still working on the mod. At least one, if not more, of former DCG members are now active devs of Gates to Hell.
I am still working on stuff for the mod, but with my new puppy and a father who has dementia the time I have to work on the mod, is quite limited.

So this mod work for Vietnam or just the original Men of War ? Because the Vietnam 4.0 version does not work, as in the executable doesn't even open or return any error message. There is a guide file that mentions Vietnam, aswell as file that would make me assume that it works with Vietnam, but I could be wrong
Sorry for late reply - this version is only for Men of War. Dont know if Jason1 is working on any other version (or even on a new version for MoW) these days. In fact, I havent heard from him since pre-pandemic.
