DuneWars Revival is a quality mod for Civ IV-BTS based on the Dune Universe created by Frank Herbert. It is an improvement on the popular DuneWars mod. In it, one will find new art, new special abilities, new original ideas, increased flavour, replayability and variety, improved mechanics, better AI, an extra civ, a new victory condition, better interface and info screens, bug fixes, etc. Have fun in the struggle to control Dune, the barren desert wasteland which is valuable for one thing only - the spice melange.

I finshed game in 1.06 and it was very good! Naw starting a 1.10:)

Have you think of adding extra research perk after artificial intelligence discover ?
for example - "the thinkig machines" it would give battel meks(melee,midum nad heavy) also Omnius steeple building which allows MEKS build. Could change House lider
for Omnius or Titan Agamemnon. Colud give neo cymek ubgrade fore guardsman nad melee. Neo cymek like artificial infantry.

I know it is a lot of work:(

I've put together an art and sound pack for Dune Wars: Revival 1.6. There are no gameplay changes from 1.6, artwork and sound changes only.

I am dying to play your magnificent mod, but when I try to load it, I take a lot of xml errors. Same thing is happening also for Rise of Erebus mod. My version is steam version. I tried to reinstall both mod and the vanilla game, still result is the same.

P.S: I can play some other mods, the two I want to play most is just unplayable for me :(. If you have an advise, I am more than grateful to you.

Keep up the good work, we need more mods like this :).

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what could be wrong with the Steam version. I don't have it, nor any of my friends. Since you already own the game I suggest that you try it by other means. Cheers.

Hey there, I'm glad you are enjoying it.
The changes between 1.05 and 1.06 are very minor. For example: the restriction of 2 instructresses per Bene Gesserit civ in the map is now working correctly, the religion percentage regarding a rival religion appears now also correctly in the victory screen, and some other very minor tweaks that I don't even remember - I'm just really busy nowadays...
Anyway, with this version, I think it should be hard to meet a bad bug, so I'm almost pleased with the game as it is - but if you do find one let me know.
